Calling all busy mums and dads of Auckland who haven't had a decent photo of family together since last Christmas (if that).

When's the last time you were actually IN the photo, not just behind the camera?
Your phone takes a hundred pictures of the kids a week, but how many of them are actually good?
Getting everyone to look at the camera at the same time feels impossible. Getting them to enjoy it feels like a fantasy.

You don't need more photos. You need the right ones. The kind that end up framed on the wall, not buried in your camera roll. The kind where everyone's actually looking at the camera, or better, not looking at all, just being themselves while someone captures it properly.

That's what Christmas Minis are for. Twenty minutes, no stress, no wrangling kids into matching outfits for one to two hours. Just you, your crew and a proper photographer doing the hard part so you don't have to. You'll be photographed against our unique Kiwi Christmas backdrop, handmade Pohutukawa flowers and fairy lights, created especially for this offer and not something you'll see anywhere else.

What if we want more photos?
Once you see your gallery, you can choose additional images. Individual photos are $45 each
The set will look as you see it in the photos our purpose-designed kiwi Christmas backdrop, handmade Pohutukawa flowers and fairy lights, built especially for this offer and not something you'll see anywhere else.
The studio is in Hillpark, Manurewa, Auckland
As my studio is small I can fit a maximum of 6 people in for these Christmas mini sessions.
Absolutely. I focus on capturing your family having fun together, and if someone doesn’t want a photo on their own, they can jump in with a parent. I keep things relaxed and I’ve got plenty of tricks to get kids laughing. You just show up.
You can either go neutral, or Christmassy.
Neutrals like white, grey, navy, cream and light blue look lovely, and so do deeper Christmas reds and greens. Choose colours that sit nicely together rather than matching exactly, and skip neon shades, bold patterns and black-and-white combos. I’ll have Santa hats here if you fancy one. Once booked in you’ll received further information.
Can we change outfits during the session?
Since the session is only 20 mins there isn’t time for outfit changes. However, a quick change (like adding a Christmas jersey, or Christmas hat) for a special shot usually works well.
Yes small to medium size dogs can be included. Some larger dogs may not fit to be easily photographed within our set, but please feel free to check with me first.
Please let me know as soon as you can if you’re running behind. I have families booked in straight after you, so if you’re about 10 minutes late, your session may be shortened to keep everything on schedule. If you’re more than 20 minutes late, I’m sorry, but the session is forfeited and can’t be refunded or rescheduled. The best plan is to aim to arrive 5 to 10 minutes early, so you have time to settle everyone in and sort out any last-minute outfit fixes.
All photos are edited including blemish removal.
Your edited gallery will be ready within 2 weeks of your session, well in time for Christmas.
That’s something we can’t help, however, if you’re sick on the day, we can’t rebook your session so you will not be refunded. There may be the option of rescheduling to a weekday. If you’re sick, let us know asap, and stay home.
Cancellations/reschedules and refunds are not available for our Christmas mini sessions. If you are unable to attend your scheduled session, you have the option to gift it to someone else.

About Amy

Hi, I’m Amy, a photographer with over 20 years of experience, including more than 15 years dedicated to newborn photography. With a degree in fashion and a professional background in the field, I’ve cultivated a strong appreciation for texture, colour, and all things beautiful - elements that naturally complement my work behind the camera. I’m also a proud Member of the New Zealand Institute of Professional Photography and hold the distinction of being an accredited Master Photographer.

As a mother of four, I know firsthand how fleeting and precious those newborn moments are. I vividly remember the overwhelming love I felt when my first daughter was born, how I couldn’t stop marvelling at her tiny perfection, and how I wished I could freeze time. Each of my children’s births deepened that joy and improved my photography skills as I captured every little detail—their lashes, tiny fingernails, and the way they curled up so perfectly.

Every family I photograph reminds me of that awe and wonder I felt as a new mother. My goal is to provide that same feeling for you - to preserve the beauty of your children’s early days in images that you will treasure forever. These are the moments you’ll look back on with fondness and pride, and I feel privileged to create timeless keepsakes for families to cherish for generations.
