About Amy

Hi, I’m Amy, a photographer with over 20 years of experience, including more than 15 years dedicated to newborn photography. With a degree in fashion and a professional background in the field, I’ve cultivated a strong appreciation for texture, colour, and all things beautiful - elements that naturally complement my work behind the camera. I’m also a proud Member of the New Zealand Institute of Professional Photography and hold the distinction of being an accredited Master Photographer.

As a mother of four, I know firsthand how fleeting and precious those newborn moments are. I vividly remember the overwhelming love I felt when my first daughter was born, how I couldn’t stop marvelling at her tiny perfection, and how I wished I could freeze time. Each of my children’s births deepened that joy and improved my photography skills as I captured every little detail—their lashes, tiny fingernails, and the way they curled up so perfectly.

Every family I photograph reminds me of that awe and wonder I felt as a new mother. My goal is to provide that same feeling for you - to preserve the beauty of your children’s early days in images that you will treasure forever. These are the moments you’ll look back on with fondness and pride, and I feel privileged to create timeless keepsakes for families to cherish for generations.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Not at all! I work with little ones every day and love capturing their unique personalities. I have plenty of tricks to get their attention, but I also capture those playful, candid moments. We do out best to make it a relaxed session for everyone.

  • Yes family can be included in all our sessions. I take individual photos of all the kids, the kids together as well as family ones.

  • Definitely! Extended family sessions are some of my favourites. Just let me know in advance so I can plan accordingly.

  • My starting packages include digital-only options, with the flexibility to add prints if you wish. I also offer a wide range of beautiful printing options to suit every style and budget.

  • The studio is in my home in Hillpark, Manurewa

  • Yes absolutely. We do offer outdoor sessions for family photos (not for newborn photos). You can see our outdoor gallery here
